Charoite is a magical and very mystical stone, only found in one place in the world. It forms from limestone in a common process called 'contact metamorphism'*. Due to this common process, many geologists finds it unclear, why this particular stone has such a limited distribution and that is why it is so mystical and rare today! Some believe the name 'Charoite' comes from the Chara river, which
