As well as composing the music he plays the flute, whistle and keyboards. Lead and harmony bagpipes on the recording are played by Dunfermline piper, Brian Lamond, a Grade 1 Pipe Major. The Cosmic Piper marks a departure from Brian's usual material as the album contains tracks with more futuristic, alternative feel. Brian was a member of the
