The vines were planted in 1926, so its truly a Vieilles Vignes cuve. It is the sister wine, if you like, to the Cailloux (stony) cuve. Unsurprisingly, Boulands gnarled old trunks have over delivered again. Raised in an old foudre, its a layered, inky, mouthcoating Morgon oozing blood plum and blackcurrant fruit framed by
