The performer begins by displaying a solid glass bottle, a US half dollar, and a cork stopper. The stopper is placed on the bottle, sealing the opening. The half dollar is placed on the palm of your hand, and the glass bottle is slammed onto the palm, causing the coin to penetrate the bottom of the bottle.
