The Aster genus contains over 600 species and thousands of hybrids. Aster alpinus 'Goliath' is also known as an alpine daisy. This is a low growing, herbaceous perennial that will clump up over time. The flowers are single purple blue daisies with yellow centres that will flower right through from early summer to autumn. Foliage is lovely
