An ideal spring was followed by a mild yet sunny summer which ripened all the reds deep into April without disease pressure. Crops were below average which led helped ripening and concentration of fruit flavor. The 2018 Blue Monday is defined by the raspberry and satsuma succulence of the Grenache; the Mourvedre adds a meaty, earthy mineral backbone and the Shiraz is high noted
